Signs you need Concrete Lifting

Common Causes of Concrete Damage

Soil Settlement or Erosion

Shifts in the ground or soil erosion beneath the concrete can lead to settling and cracking.

Oversaturation

Water from rain or snow melt can cause soil to swell beneath the concrete leading to sinking after it dries.

Tree Roots

Growth of tree roots underneath the concrete can push up and crack the surface.

Freeze-thaw Cycle

Penetration and freezing of water in concrete can lead to cracking due to the expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes.

Poor Drainage

Inadequate drainage can lead to water around or beneath concrete structures. This stagnant water weakens the base material supporting the concrete, causing uneven settling, cracks, and structural instability over time.

Poor Construction

Inadequate mixing, improper curing, or insufficient reinforcement during the concrete laying process can weaken the structure.

Concrete Lifting FAQs

The process involves drilling small penny-size holes in the sunken concrete slab and then injecting a strong, lightweight, and non-intrusive polyurethane foam beneath the slab to raise it to its original level.

Benefits include cost efficiency, minimal disruption, a 20 minute cure time, waterproof formula and the ability to strengthen the soil beneath your slab to avoid future problems.

The pricing depends on various factors including the severity of damage, the area size requiring treatment, and specific site conditions. A free inspection allows us to provide a precise estimate tailored to your unique needs.

Disclaimer: “Concrete leveling” means the process by which cracked, uneven concrete is stabilized, and in most cases lifted, by means of PolyRenewal™ polyurethane foam. Groundworks does not guarantee that PolyRenewal™ can make any and/or every square inch of your concrete perfectly level.

The work done promptly by Ryan and his team (Eryica, Ny) was excellent with the driveway lift that was extremely necessary. The team did a great job being on time and within the time allotted to complete the work. Would recommend to others if they need a professional job done while being efficient. Thank you again!

We got 3 quotes for driveway lifting. These guys were competitively priced and had good reviews on google so we hired them. I’m glad we did! They were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. When James and his partner came back to seal the joints, the service was just as good as the first team. Thanks again!

They showed up, gave me quote on the spot, I approved it they showed up next day and got it all done in 4 hrs. Evan zack and trevor were great to deal with during the install and gave me a walk thru when it was all done letting me know all the details of the job. Would recommend 👌

Vincent Augert was very thorough and upfront about the cost and warranty.
He was very easy to deal with and most importantly, we never felt pressure during the whole quoting process.

Excellent service. Sales was pleasant and quote was thorough enough to proceed. The crew that came out to excavate, and install the interior and exterior basement systems was absolutely top notch – their work was neat and tidy, they showed up on time, and worked hard. To top it off, they (and all the folks involved) have to be the most pleasant contractors I’ve ever dealt with – and this is house #5 for us over the years! Thank you, Basement Authority. Highly recommend.
